Herein shall be the project design of the dolphin defense global dolphin-art project for my FIU: Global Learning Medallion program, Peace Corps Prep capstones, (and then during my graduate school research and beyond) and to share with all of you for helping dolphins!

The Global Dolphin-art Project is to create awareness for Global Dolphin Defense and relates to ocean conservation. For dolphin defense awareness each person wherever they are in the world can create an image (drawing, painting, sculpture, craft, photo, digital art, artistic meme, or mural, ect.), and the image of your dolphin-art can then be submitted and added to the art project until we have hundreds of dolphin images from diverse people around the world to add to a mosaic that we will lovingly present to the world to plead the case of the dolphins for world-wide rights to their lives and defense. Together we can show the world how much dolphins matter to each other, to us, and to the oceans. This art-project is to be a labor of love to help save dolphins!

For adults, when I give my global dolphin defense presentation I include more of the facts on the dangers dolphins face before we get into creating dolphin art together, but for children, my lesson plan focuses more on the positive value of the lives of dolphins and caring for the ocean, before we begin their interactive dolphin art-activity. In this way, the project can be accessible and appropriate to all age-groups of a diversity of humans.

Participants' dolphin images will be submitted on this website into our photo gallery, photo albums (of our sea-art showcase page) as we grow the project, and then shared more fully with the world as a giant mosaic when the time comes! No dolphin image is too big or too small (since even a large mural can be photographed), and the dolphin images are all important, so you do not have to be a professional artist to submit an image of your dolphin art! What matters is that you cared enough to make your own special dolphin image/s to historically add to the worldwide plea for dolphin defense!  Contact us if you need a presentation or have any questions. You can submit your dolphin images here to this site on behalf of dolphins, (whether you have a presentation request or not though). In those cases, just contact us here when your original dolphin image is ready to submit. United and together we can take this peaceful yet active stand for the dolphins!

Terms of Submission of your Dolphin-Art Image: Please, do not submit profane images as these will detract from our age-inclusive positive message for dolphin defense. However, you may be creative or simple and you do not need to be a professional artist or photographer to share and show your own unique dolphin image for this positive project. Liability Release: By submitting your image to this project you are agreeing to use by the project designer Miss Neilson, and Mermaidseas Dolphin Defense league International for also sharing the image/s with the public, as in this global dolphin-art project. If you want to be seen, you can photograph yourself holding your dolphin-art creation, but this is not required. By submitting you certify that it is yours to share. It is up to you whether you want to sign your real name to your art, or to use a nickname/pen-name, or to leave it as anonymous, so you can be as open or private as you choose about your sensitive personal-information also. In other words, whatever is on your dolphin-image is what can become visible to the public, so please only write what you want to share publicly on it, of course. We will gratefully respect your participation and the sharing of your dolphin image for this dolphin defense art project. Thank you so much.
